TALMUD  CLASS is suspended - Instead we offer
“Choose Life”: Healing Circle and Text Study
Coming  Together On-line, Supporting Each Other
Wednesdays 7:00 to 8:00 pm

Wednesdays,  March 25th & April 1st  -  “Choose Life”: Healing Circle and Text Study

7:00 pm - 7:10 pm - Healing Circle
Through song, prayer and silence we will pray for each other, our loved ones, and those around the world who are dealing with illness. Please RSVP to the office by Wednesday at 4:00 pm and you will receive a link to join us online. (Do not reply to this email.)

7:15 pm - 8:00 pm - Text Study
We will look at Jewish texts in translation from the Torah, Talmud, midrash and later that address issues of sickness and healing.  How do both we and our tradition understand prayers for healing?  How do we understand suffering?  What is the role of ritual during difficult times?  How does Judaism understand the role of religion and spirituality at times of crisis.   Please RSVP to the office by Wednesday at 4:00 pm and you will receive a link to join us online. (Do not reply to this email.)
