SHABBAT on the ISLAND
Where our mouths are full of song as the sea . . .
ilu finu malei shira kayam
Experience the vibrancy of our rich tradition of Jewish prayer,
music, spirituality and Torah learning
Our community members include people from diverse backgrounds, and our services are designed to blend both the liberal and traditional as well as be accessible to all.
We use the Reconstructionist Prayer Book Kol Haneshama,
and also (on Fridays) the CCAR Reform Siddur Mishkan T'filah.
We include lots of music, traditional prayers in Hebrew, English readings and meditation.
Services are led by Rabbi Caryn Broitman. Guest rabbis/teachers often add to the Saturday morning Torah discussion as part of the service. See the interactive calendar for current details.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
