Office Manager
Max Jasny, along with his wife Michelle Gerhard Jasny, has been actively involved in the Hebrew Center for over thirty years. He has served as Minhag Committee chair, Trustee, and Vice President, and has also led lay services and taught in the Religious School. He brings to his job in the office years of experience in office and business administration, computer skills, and customer service. Max has worked as a social worker and counselor and in behavioral pharmacology.

Office Manager, Toni Kauffman
Toni joins the Hebrew Center with many years of Administrative experience. She enjoyed a
career in education for over thirty years. As Director of Community Relations and Service Learning
for the PA Virtual Charter School in Pennsylvania, her programs were the connecting, common
thread in the diverse fabric of the school community. She served in her local community in various capacities; including as a Burlington County, County Commissioner and an elected member of the Burlington City School Board, where she advocated for the education and future of the children and families of Burlington City, NJ. Retiring to the Vineyard in 2016, with a heart to serve; she is a member of several Island organizations and comes to The Hebrew Center with a passion for event planning and is known to find delight in the details.

Educational Director, Anita Smith
A professional educator and school administrator, Anita maintains a high standard of Jewish education. We look forward to a year filled with collaborative learning in the classroom, in the synagogue and in our homes.
